10 Bad Bathroom Habits That Are Messing Up Your Health!

Last Updated on December 11, 2019

We sometimes skip washing our backs, our scalps, the sole of our feet and behind our ears, and it’s important to start paying attention to this. If the problem is you can’t reach your back, for example, get an appropriate accessory and change those habits.

#4 – Take Your Toothbrush With You When You Are Done

Like we stated before, there are millions and millions of bacteria chilling around your bathroom, so maybe leaving your toothbrush exposed to that germ party isn’t the best idea, it is actually one of the worst toilet habits.

The counters are usually close to the toilets, which makes matters worse. What you should do is find a place where you can keep your toothbrush – preferably outside of your bathroom – and not forget to change toothbrushes every three months.

#5 – Leave Your Gadgets Outside Of The Bathroom

It has been estimated that 90% of people (more or less) take their gadgets to the bathroom, because, you know, cellphones are the new newspaper.

But after we are done doing our business, we wash our hands, but not our phone. We take it with us, we put it on the table during lunch and now what? Better just play it safe and replace that cellphone with a bathroom Rubik’s cube or something

#6 – Avoid Using A Towel On Your Face

Towels are also very prone to become the free country of bacteria, so when you wash your face over and over again and clean it with the same old towel, this can be very dangerous, and the danger grows if you already suffer from skin problems.

The solution here would be to change towels every time you dry your face or to use disposable towels.

#7 – Do Not Leave Wet Towels Hanging

Bacteria love humidity, and therefore the bathroom is the last place on earth you should consider leaving your towel. When you are done cleaning yourself, take your towel and hang it in the fresh air, in a dry spot.
