Since water is the essence of life and the reason why everything is alive, we have to take into consideration everything that is related to it.
According to the National Academy of Sciences’ the Food and Nutrition Board, the needed amount of water that our bodies need is 2 and a half liters of water per day, which equals 10 cups, and the most quantity must be contained in prepared foods.
Somehow, we are very obsessed with hydrating ourselves with 8 glasses per day, which is good. But we don’t care how we take them as long as there is H2O going down our throat every now and then. We make a lot of mistakes hydrating ourselves, and it is time to know better in order to give our bodies what they truly need.
