#7 – Your wounds take longer to heal
If your bruises take too long to heal, get worse, or never heal, it could be a huge warning sign of high blood sugar which affects your bod’s ability to repair itself. This can result in diabetic neuropathy which is a type of nerve damage in diabetic people.
You must get yourself checked immediately to start treatment and avoid getting wound infections and other diabetes complications.
Always keep in mind that the longer you leave your diabetes untreated, the greater your risk of major health complications is. Be smarter than all types of diabetes by keeping watch of their subtle signs!
