3. Not caring for your nails

Yes, you may do manicure every month and your nails are looking stylish every time, but have you taken a look underneath them? That’s right, hand hygiene is very important, especially when it comes to dirt and bacteria that accumulate underneath your nails, and especially if you have long nails.

It’s always a good idea to wash them and scrub them underneath. Don’t forget that your hands come in contact with everything and also your face, food, etc., so it’s important that you take care of them.

4. Not showering after workout

Being in sweaty gym clothes is one of the most dangerous and unhealthy things you can possibly do.
While most of us would jump right into the shower after a workout, some of us like to take their time and end up maybe eating first or watching an episode of their favorite show.

You should know that sweat, when trapped in our clothes, can provoke acne and skin irritation. So, staying in sweaty clothes is not exactly the best thing you can do to your body.

Also, it’s important to wash your entire body including the parts that touched the public workout machines and so on. That is very important since you want to get rid of all the bacteria that might have been transferred to your body.

If showering isn’t possible on the spot, try to change your clothes into new ones and shower as soon as possible!

5. Taking hot showers

Speaking of showers, what temperature of water do you prefer? Hot water? Yes, you and most of us. The only problem is that hot water is pretty damaging to our skin. Hot water makes your pores open, making your skin more sensitive and prone to becoming itchy, dry skin after a shower.
