From skin moisturizers to anti-aging masks and serums, it seems to be a product that can fix any aging sign your face might display.

But what about the neck? The neck also has a very sensitive and thin skin that loses its elasticity over time, becoming saggy and full of wrinkles. So, how can you improve the skin texture in this part of your body? That is what we are about to find out.

1. Exercise your neck muscles

You don’t need to be a Formula 1 driver, a strike fighter pilot or an astronaut to include specific exercises for your neck muscles in your workout routine. Wrinkles can be caused by muscle weakness, so you better start doing some quick neck exercises to keep those muscles moving! Here are some examples:

The “O” shape: open your mouth in the shape of an “O” and use your hand or fingers to pull down the sides of your mouth while forcing it to keep the “O” shape form. If you do this correctly, you should feel your neck muscles contracting.

Chin lift: fix your eyes at a point high up on the wall and lift your jaw up and out without moving your head. If you put your hand on your neck, you will feel the muscles tighten. Hold that position for a couple of seconds before releasing and repeat the movement 15 times.

Head turn: relax your shoulders and slowly turn your head to each side without moving your upper body. This exercise is so simple that you can perform it several times a day wherever you want.
